First become familiar with the device functions and winding process: when buy a coil winding machine, test run with electricity on at first, this process is to check if the coil winding machine runs smoothly, whether there is abnormal noise, as a commissioning personnel he should check every function if valid or not individually according to instruction manual, it’s also a process to be familiar with equipment. After initial familiar with the equipment functions he should find the corresponding device functions according to the winding process of their products, check if machine’s function is consistent with the requirements of the winding combined with process, you should communicate with the supplier about the details of equipment requirements in the procurement of equipment, to avoid inconsistent of machine with winding requirements, it should be noted that the allowed wire diameter, the maximum load , wire displacement width and accuracy of the machine, all these parameters are the basic data to determine whether machine conforms to winding requirements. After equipment accessory setting and data measuring commissioning personnel familiar with the equipment functions and parameters , you also need to measure the data of coil winding machine’s tension adjustment and winding mould, usually the larger the wire diameter the larger winding tension is, different suppliers have different equipment tension adjust range. And the tension required for use of aluminum and copper wires is different, the tension of aluminum wire is smaller to the same diameter copper wire. If tension is over adjusted the actual wire diameter is diminishes on the winding mould, if the wire is thin, it will occur wire breaks or knots. But if the tension is small the coil will be swelling and mess displacement, so it is critical to adjust the tension set, different wire diameters have different safe tension ranges, which commissioning personnel should carefully refer to. You should pay attention to mould’s width and height, whether matches to winding shaft, when winding mould measuring, if too tight it will affect mould load and unload, too loose the mould will shake affecting the wire displacement result. The common functions of automatic coil winding machine are turn numbers pre-set, automatic stop, forward and reverse coil windings, automatic slot crossing etc., during actual use you should pay attention some points: first are slow start winding and slow stop winding. The slow start winding function is slow operation after equipment start, the purpose is to reduce the impact on the tension mechanism and enameled, the turn numbers is according to actual needs, usually 1-3 coils. The slow stop winding function is equipment slow operation before finishing winding steps, this function is to reduce the impact on the brakes and make machine smooth end winding. These parameters must be set especially for pinpoint the winding process. The parameters should be adjusted according to winding speed, usually 2-5 turns. Once again are the wire displacement direction and winding direction, these 2 parameters are respectively set for the wire displacement direction and main shaft rotating direction. The wire displacement shaft and main shaft of automatic coil winding machine are controlled by controller, there’re specific comovement relationis between them. You should make clear of wire displacement shaft shifting direction when setting. Many customers advised that the equipment alarms while in debugging, this is equipment protection caused by error setting. All the coil winding machines have detecting zero point to locate the wire displacement shaft. If start the machine at the zero point, then the wire displacement shaft must move outwards, if set it move inwards by error, then it will alarm. The winding shaft rotating direction should be determined by winding process, all the settings should be considered the winding process requirements fully.
